About

Non-Judgmental | Respectful Empathetic | Patient

Hello, I am Michelle Northam, and I look forward to coming alongside you on your journey to healing. We will work together to find meaning, purpose, and healing. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board approved Supervisor (LCSW-S), licensed in Texas and Maryland. A follower of Jesus Christ, the wife of a veteran, and a mother. Everyone has a story, and those stories are full of experiences of pain, hardship, and disappointment. These experiences are not what defines a person, we are so much more than our past and present. Let's work together to move you from the pain, turmoil, hurt, and brokenness in your life towards a place of healing, joy, freedom, and hope. Through God’s redeeming power, prayer, Christian counselors, and solid therapeutic practices, I have been able to find peace, wholeness and healing from the pain that I have experienced in my life. The pain of my past no longer controls or hinders me, it is now part of my redefined story that I use to bring hope to others struggling. I am committed to serving the needs of individuals, couples, and families. My clinical expertise has focused on the holistic treatment of: • Addiction (sexual, gambling, gaming, porn, substance, etc.) • Partner's Recovery from Infidelity • Betrayal • Anxiety • Depression • Stress • College Mental Health • Anger Management • Parenting • Life adjustment for family members of Military and First Responders * Let’s work together to help you heal! Education • Master of Social Work (Clinical) from the University of Southern California • Bachelor of Arts in Education – Special Education from University of North Florida "Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint. Heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony." (Psalm 6:2) “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13)
